Ammonium Sulfate
Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as a nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture. There are also many other niche applications, such as food additives and drinking water treatment.

Het gebruik van meststoffen

Meststoffen zijn in de huidige samenleving echter onmisbaar geworden, omdat ze boeren in staat stellen meer voedsel te verbouwen op beperkte grond door de groei en ontwikkeling van planten te stimuleren.
In de voedingsindustrie worden meststoffen in verschillende vormen en concentraties gebruikt, afhankelijk van de behoeften van de planten en de vereisten van de specifieke teeltsituatie. Er zijn organische meststoffen zoals dierlijke mest en compost, enminerale meststoffen zoals stikstof, fosfaat en kalium.
